01Who we are

UCT GARMENTS operates the website at https://uctwear.com (“UCT Wear”, “we”, “us”). We are the data fiduciary for the personal data described below. Our registered office is at BASEMENT, OFFICE NO B-01, C-119, SECTOR 2, Sector 2, Noida, Gautambuddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, 201301..

02What we collect

We collect only what an order actually needs:

• Identity and contact data — your name, email address and mobile number.
• Delivery data — shipping address, city, state and pincode, plus any delivery note you add.
• Order data — the items, sizes and quantities you buy, order value, coupon used and order status.
• Payment data — the payment method you choose and the transaction reference returned by our payment gateway. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN or bank credentials.
• Account data — if you create an account, your saved addresses and a securely hashed password. We cannot read your password.
• Technical data — IP address, browser type and pages viewed, used to keep the site secure and working.

03Why we use it

We process your data to: take and fulfil your order; arrange delivery and let you track it; process payments and refunds; send transactional email about your order; answer support and grievance requests; meet tax, GST and accounting obligations; and detect fraudulent or abusive orders. We use it for marketing only where you have separately opted in, and you can withdraw that at any time.

04Legal basis and consent

Where you place an order, we process your data to perform that contract with you. Where the law requires it — tax records, for example — we process it to comply with a legal obligation. Any other use relies on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time by writing to support@uctwear.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out.

05Who we share it with

We share the minimum necessary with:

• Delivery partners — your name, address and phone number, so your parcel arrives.
• Payment gateway — to authorise and settle your payment. Payment details are collected by the gateway, not by us.
• Email service — to send order confirmations and updates.
• Government authorities — only where we are legally required to disclose.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.

06Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies to keep your bag and session working. If analytics or advertising tags are enabled, they may set their own cookies to measure how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the shopping bag and checkout may not work correctly if you do.

07How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept for as long as tax and company law requires (currently eight financial years). Account data is kept until you ask us to delete the account. Support correspondence is kept for up to three years. Data no longer needed is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

08How we protect it

The site is served over HTTPS. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Access to order data is restricted to the people who need it to run the store. No online service can promise perfect security, but we review our practices regularly and will notify you and the relevant authority of a reportable breach without undue delay.

09Your rights

You may ask us to: confirm what data we hold about you and give you a copy; correct anything inaccurate or incomplete; erase data we no longer need; or nominate someone to exercise these rights if you are unable to. Write to grievance@uctwear.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

10Children

We sell clothing for boys, but the account and the purchase are made by an adult. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from a child. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

11Changes and contact
